2021年6月1日,中国美术学院设计艺术学院毕业展将在“浙江美术馆”和“象山艺术公社”两地隆重揭幕。作为一年一度的毕业盛会,本次设计学院毕业展以“启”为主题,由设计学院五个系的百组毕业作品组成,来自不同专业的毕业生们将以各自独特的视角诠释后疫情时代下的社会思考和设计责任。

启,古文为“啟”。

关于“启”《说文》曰:“启,教也、開也。“啟” 蕴含启迪、启发、启蒙、启示和开始之意。

我们同处现在变化的世界,共同面对百年未有之变革,是全新开启的时代,教育是佑启同学去聆听、观察、体验、学习,激发对新领域 、新理念的知识体系建设,强调开启改变社会的意识,创造生活变革的方法。设计关注社会进步和科技发展的社会现实,回应新时期的紧迫议题,形成对生活的想象和改变世界基础,也是内化和升华自我的一部分。

设计教育是启发思考和赋予创造之能量,面向未来心存志远更要珍惜当下,正如法国哲学家阿尔贝·加缪所说:“对未来的真正慷慨,是把一切都献给现在。”

Qi literately refers to teaching and discovering, also implies the meanings for inspiration, enlightenment, and beginning.

We live together in the changing world and face the great evolution for centuries, which starts a new era. Education inspires students listening, observing, experiencing, and learning, which stimulates the construction of a knowledge system for new fields and new ideas, creating the awareness of changing society and the way of living.  

Design focuses on the factors of social progress and technological development, responds to urgent issues in the new era, forms an imagination of life and changes the foundation of the world, as a part of internalizing and sublimating oneself.

Design education is to inspire thinking and empower creativity. We should be ambitious for the future, and appreciate the present. This reflects what the French philosopher Albert Camus stated ‘True generosity to the future is to give everything to the present.’

庄子曾说,怀正平之心,与造化更生,可近于天道。如今,身处时代变革与从未涉及过的科技发展,在自然、社会、人事、自我的更覆推迁之间,设计人更需要重新审视与构建自身的态度与使命。

与彼更生,便是直面每个“现在”中的潜在现实、每个“当下”里的永恒变化,跨越藩篱,融汇古今,与自然共生,随机应变;与社会共振,与时俱进;与他人同心,和光同尘;与自我同频,成长更新;如此代谢更迭,生生不息。

后生可畏,更上层楼。新世代人以独特视角在探讨时间与生命、环境与健康、文化传承与道德重建、城乡边界与发展、生活方式与教育、弱势群体与老龄化等种种议题。且看“更生仔”们如何以敏锐的洞察力、诚挚的感受力、独到的思考力与创新的艺术表现力,展开一场别开生面的视觉设计之旅。

 

More than 2,000 years ago, Zhuangzi, a famous Chinese philosopher, once said that in positive and peaceful mind, we were transforming and regenerating with nature and then we were naturally close to our Way. As designers, we need to re-examine and re-construct our own attitudes and missions in the transformation of nature, society, beings and egos in the post-pandemic era nowadays.

Transforming and regenerating with nature means facing the potential reality and eternal changes in each “now”. Crossing barriers and integrating the past and the present, we live in symbiosis with nature, adapt to changes, resonate with society, keep pace with the times, share the same heart with others, stand aloof from worldly success and grow with our inner self. Transformation is everlasting in such a circle of life.

A younger generation will surpass the older. The younger generation will discuss, from unique perspectives, various issues related to time and life, environment and health, traditional culture and moral reconstruction, urban-rural border and development, children’s education, self-growth and lifestyle, vulnerable groups and ageing. Let’s see how the “younger generation”, with keen insight, sincere feeling, unique thinking and innovative artistic expression, embark on an extraordinary journey of visual design.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

“视域(Horizon)”,用多元视角进行文化风貌重构,在交互语境中探寻生存法则,传达年轻设计师们对身份的认知与探索,对美的追寻与重塑,对所处时间与空间的辩证思考,代表着新一代的自觉意识与当下宣言。

这里的“视域”不仅包含着生理的“看”的范围,也与精神的“观”的场所有关,其所“看”与所“观”也代表着本土与外部世界在时空上的关联。一个视域就是一个人的生活世界。

 

"Horizon", which reconstructs the cultural landscape from multiple perspectives and explores the laws of survival in an interactive context, conveys the young designers' awareness and exploration of identity, their search for and reinvention of beauty, and their dialectical thinking about the time and space they live in, representing the new generation's consciousness and declaration of the present.

"Horizon" hereby encompasses not only the physical sphere of "seeing", but also the spiritual place of "observing". What one "sees" and "observes" represents a spatial and temporal connection between the local and the external world. Each and every "Horizon" indicates a person's world of life.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

国际国内双循环新发展格局下,我们需要将创意能力与产业经济进行充分融合,挖掘价值潜力,才能让设计真正服务经济。本届毕业生在未来海洋适居生活、互联网金融社会创新、新能源出行双向感知、大数据弱势群体关怀、文化可持续的内在体验、日常坐卧康乐新风尚等方面的深入思索,形成对于未来新生活态的探索的数十个创意点。同时,这些研究也联合十余家企业进行具有应用价值的概念原型设计实践。

新一代设计师面对世界诸多挑战的今天,更着眼于人(消费者)现实存在的生活方式的探索,在毕业创作中,他们尝试将未来设计智慧性思索与民生产业紧密接轨。这些思维是贯穿当下、过往与未来的光芒。本次产品设计毕业创作展取名穿透力PENETRATING,寓意设计通过实践思考成为一种穿透产业经济的能量。

 

Under the new development pattern of international and domestic double cycles, we need to fully integrate creative capabilities with the industrial economy and tap the value potential in order to make design truly serve the economy.The graduates have think have in-depth thoughts on the future ocean life, Internet financial social innovation, two-way perception of new energy travel, big data care for disadvantaged groups, culturally sustainable inner experience, and new styles of daily sitting and lying, forming a new life in the future Dozens of creative points for dynamic exploration.At the same time, the Graduation Project also unites more than ten companies to carry out conceptual prototype design practice with practical value.

Faced with many challenges in the world today, a new generation of designers focus on the exploration of the life style of people in reality. In their graduation creations, they try to closely integrate future design intellectual thinking with the civilian production industry.Thinking runs through the present, past and future.This product design graduation creation exhibition is named Penetration "PENETRATING", which implies that design has become a kind of energy that penetrates the industrial economy through practice and thinking.

原动力,是构建生活意义的基石。

人之所依存的意义感,源于对情绪的感受,源于对自然与人为世界的认知,源于每一个体对于“现在”的真实感知。

原动力,是滋养设计生长的内驱力。

综合设计系通过追寻设计之本原的动力,打破固有设计维度的界限,呈现会展设计与色彩设计两个专业对于社会的认知与解读,表达其对环境的感受与体验,以及对自我的剖析与反思。

 

The fountainhead is the source of spring water.

Driving force constructs the footstone of the meaning of life.

The sense of meaning people live on stems from how we feel emotions, how we understand nature and human world, and how every individual truly perceives the present.

Driving force also is the internal momentum to nourish design growth.

The Department of Integrated Design, through pursuing the original power of design, breaks boundaries of inherent design dimension, presents cognition and interpretation on society by exhibition design and color design to express its feelings and experience in environment and conduct self-analysis and self-reflection.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

现在,是一个人人参与设计的时代,不同领域的人们都在努力用自己可操作的“设计”行为来改变命运,进而改变这个世界。“设计”的边缘与定义正在被社会性的创新行为不断地突破。

我们以人类学研究方法,对中国当下商业生态、设计生态中的某一个对象进行观察研究,以文献展的方式解剖、呈现其设计行为的内在逻辑。在这个过程中,我们积极理解并参与“设计的现在”。

 

At the moment, it is an era for everyone participates in design. People in different fields are trying to change their destiny with their own operable "design" behaviors, And then change the world. The edge and definition of "design" are constantly being broken through by socially innovative behavior.

We use anthropological research methods to observe and study a certain object in the current business and design ecology of China, and use document exhibition manner to analyze and present the internal logic of its design behavior.
